Step 1: The Story Rescue
It starts with a mission. Every Blind Date with a Book features a "Like New" title rescued from our local village book sale, saved from a landfill, and meticulously inspected for its second chapter.
- You Choose: Select your preferred genre (Romance, Thriller, Fantasy, and more...).
- We Personalize: Check our "Notes to the Curator" if you have a Goodreads profile or specific tropes you love. Amy will hand-pick a title that matches your soul.
Step 2: The Lucky Elements
Once your book is chosen, it’s time to fill your box with "Comfort Fillers." This is where the fun begins.
- The Lucky Treasure Scoop: Amy uses a vintage-style scoop to pull a medley of tokens from our glass basin. Each bead corresponds to a premium item - from washi tape and wax seals to luxury tea and candles.
- The Mystery Capsules: Choose a Decade (10), Volume (15), or Library (25) pull. Each capsule holds a single "Vessel of Wonder" - boutique pins, charms, or stationery.
Step 3: The Wheel of Wonders (Optional)
Feeling particularly lucky? Add a Spin of Serendipity to your order. During your packing session, we’ll spin our studio wheel to determine your "Grand Upgrade." You might land on an extra book, a full-sized hearth candle, or a limited-edition curator’s gift.
Step 4: The Curator’s Reel (Optional)
Want to see your sanctuary come to life? If you add a Packing Video to your order, Amy will film the entire process - the scoops, the pulls, and the wrapping - and tag you on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook so you can join the celebration.
Step 5: The Journey Home
Your curation is wrapped in sustainable kraft paper, adorned with trope labels, and spritzed with our signature "Library" scent. We ship across Canada, ensuring your box arrives ready for your next "Me-Time" ritual.
